It’s early in the morning. The Columbia River has a thick mist of fog cover floating upon its calm waters. As your canoe casts off, away from shore, you look in awe at the snow covered peaks of Mt. Hood and think to yourself, “perhaps this is the same view that Lewis and Clark gazed upon as they charted the vast, unmapped lands of the American West?”
Campers will be delighted by the adventures and scenery they will encounter on all of their outdoor expeditions. Canoeing, stand up paddle boarding, windsurfing and white water rafting are among some of the unforgettable aquatic adventures our campers will experience during their stay in the Gorge.
